1 rechargeable battery (AAA 1.2V) that stores energy from the sun is included. The battery can be replaced and lasts for about 2 years.
Position the product so the lamp shade is well exposed to sunlight. The solar cell panel is under the lamp shade.
Recharging time is 9-12 hours in sunlight, but over 12 hours on a cloudy day.
When the battery is fully charged, the product will give full light for approx. 12 hours.
The battery should be replaced only with a rechargeable battery of the same type and capacity.
IKEA recommends LADDA rechargeable batteries.
Approved for use as outdoor lighting, IP 44.

To access the rechargeable battery, twist the lamp base away from the lamp shade.
